Your Improved Health
Our Mission
Our quest is for your improved health. We will help you and your family regain your natural state of wellness. We believe that being healthy is more than just the absence of pain—true health is having the ability to do what you need and want to do in your life: to live well. We aim to keep you informed about the latest scientific findings in nutritional, naturopathic, osteopathic, and other fields of complementary medicine, and how we can integrate this information in order to enable you to regain and maintain your best wellbeing.
Our Services
These complementary therapeutic modalities are combined with progressive analytical procedures to locate the cause of your health problems and not just treat your symptoms. We provide short-term (acute) treatment care or long-term (chronic) maintenance care tailored to your personal needs. Our goal is to enable you to experience quality living—for life.
Osteopathic Medicine
Osteopathy is a system of health care which recognises that the self-healing, self-regulating ability of the body is dependent upon a number of factors, including favourable environmental conditions (both internal and external) adequate nutrition, and normal structural integrity. It utilises generally accepted medical methods of diagnosis, as well as certain specialised ones developed to facilitate accurate structural assessment.
Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (Natural Medicine)
Natural Medicine is defined as the study of the interactions of both nutritional and environmental factors with human physiology, biochemistry, pathology and anatomy and the clinical application of these interactions in the optimisation of health and the prevention and treatment of disease. This may involve the removal of certain foods or chemicals from the patient’s environment, the use of rotation diets and the provision of vitamins, minerals, trace elements and essential fatty acids, herbs or other nutritional supplements. Excesses or deficiencies of any nutrient or the presence of basic chemicals or electromagnetic radiation results in cellular dysfunction and illness. The underlying philosophy is closely aligned with Naturopathic principles and is a form of drug free Natural Medicine.
Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT)
Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT for short) is a non-invasive option for the treatment of various pains and diseases of the musculoskeletal system. ESWT has been used successfully in orthopaedic pain therapy since the beginning of the 1990s.
Many years of experience prove that certain pathological changes in tendons, ligaments, capsules, muscles and bones can be specifically eliminated with the help of this healing method. Frequently treated conditions include frozen shoulder, tennis elbow and heel pain (plantar fasciitis).
The shock waves used are short sound pulses that can penetrate water and soft tissue. The shock waves are generated outside the body (extracorporeally) in the handpiece of the device and transmitted into the patient's body by means of ultrasound gel, where they have a targeted effect on the painful areas.
ESWT is performed by qualified therapists. For patients, it is largely free of risks and side effects. The treatment takes place on an outpatient basis and can therefore be easily integrated into everyday life – immediately afterwards, patients can continue with their normal daily routine.
Shockwave vibration therapy is a very useful therapy that helps improve circulation, increase bone density and muscle mass as well as reduce joint pain and stress. It also helps to boost metabolism. Vibration therapy can be administered locally at the site of an injury or issue or throughout the whole body.
